I have an application that creates a new job as part of uninstall process and when I uninstall this application from the add or remove programs entry, after the uninstallation is done, add or remove programs entry freezes up

I'm experiencing it too Installed VS 2010 Professional (without VB) and no sign of the entity framework project template I didn't install any beta versions on this machine though I had VS 2008 SP1 In Add Remove Programs there is a listing for "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 ADO NET Entity Framework Tools"

Open Add Remove Programs make sure the Show Updates box at the top is checked Now scroll down tell me if ALL of the following updates are listed? • KB2555917, KB2507938; KB2530548, KB2544521, KB2544893, KB2476490, KB2535512, KB2393802 KB971029 Most will be displayed as "Security Update for Windows XP" followed by the KB number in parentheses If IE8 is installed, two will be displayed

I then tried uninstalling again (from "add remove programs") and it worked I dont know if any of the rest of the things I did contributed to this working but here are the things I did: - Uninstalled all the other NET Framework 4 versions I had installed (extended and multi-targeting)
