The behaviour you are describing sounds like Track Changes may be toggled on I've attached a screenshot of how it looks You can toggle this by going to the Review section in the ribbon, and

From your description, it seems that you cannot edit Word documents even blank document and it shows read-only in Word for Mac If my understanding is right, we noticed that you posted this thread under Business category, may I know if you are using Microsoft 365 business products?

Uncontrollable Scrolling in Mac Word in Multi-page View i' m running word on the mac version 15 17 i've got a document that's just over 100 pages i'm viewing it so that i see two pages at a time here's my problem:

I am using Office 2010 on a Windows 7 Enterprise computer I do have limited administrator access on the computer While working on a document, I manually saved with Ctrl + S regularly (every ten minutes or so) I did have several other large files open, required to complete work on this document

We were able to get the printer to print via a wireless connection through the notepad application, however, I could not print a document from Microsoft Word 2000 I received a message "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer set up " Any suggestions? Many Thanks
