Hello I am a new Canadian member to the Nitro forum family I have an 08 Nitro R T, and was having the same crank issues as other members First we changed the crank sensor, after about a day the problem came back We then changed the cam sensor, its been about 2 wks and haven't had any crank issues since Hopefully this helps somebody out there!

Yes, the location makes replacing the coolant temperature sensor challenging I just replaced that sensor on my Nitro, along with the thermostat It was the original plastic one but I was fortunate and got it out in one piece But I broke off the head of one of the thermostat bolts, and took me one week to get it loose

plus a TIPM for my NITRO is on back order and could take 2 months have contacted MOPAR and the fact that they want my old TIPM made me think possibly i would receive one which has been repaired DODGE are treating this as if it is a service part and when it fails you just replace with a new one
