Got a hole in the lower brake fluid reservoir by the rear brake pedal on an '06 VTX 1800 R Anyone know where I can get a replacement I'm in Pa a little south of Harrisburg if that helps any Thanks , riders

Perfect example is the new "F" model (left), and Neo model (right), where the reservoir is now on the left side of engine, chrome plastic little brother to the right side of engine air box It's got a little sight glass built into the 'rear facing' side

2) Reservoir No 2 is the remote brake fluid reservoir, located knee-high, at the right-hand side of the bike, just above the rear brake pedal It is used to flush the lower bleeder valves located on either side of the front-wheel brake calipers and the rear-brake bleeder, located on the rear wheel, at the top of the rear-brake caliper

As far as burping the system after emptying refilling the reservoir, I would say you probably wont have to burp the system If you don't introduce air into the main system then you shouldn't have to burp air out of it The tank is only connected to the motor by a small line running from the radiator cap filler neck (on my early bike)

Under the chrome side cover you'll see a bleeder Open it until the reservoir is almost empty Close the bleeder and fill the reservoir with Vlavoline Synpower DOT 4 fluid Re-open the bleeder and keep filling the reservoir until fluid comes out clear down below Close the bleeder and make sure fluid level is at the line inside the reservoir
